Although Perfect Timing Music Studio was established in 2000, it was only in January of 2008 that we started the tradition of choosing a Student of the Month.  All enrolled students are eligible for nomination and the winner's name is announced before the end of the month.

   2.   Performance Techniques

   3.   Sight Reading Capability

   4.   Theory Knowledge

   5.   Effort

   6.   Attitude

   7.  Practice

   8.   Listening Skills

   9.   Regular Attendance

 10.  Recital Participation

The student of the Months is chosen by all PTMS teachers and decisions are final.  Pictures of the winners are displayed in the studio and on our website.

 

This practice was started not so much in the spirit of competition, but with the hope of providing incentive and encouragement to the students for self-improvement, while receiving recognition for their talent and effort.  At Perfect Timing Music Studio, we are continually striving to challenge and motivate our student.  With the parents and guardians' help and influence at home, we are convinced our students are becoming the best they can be, not only in music, not only in music, but in other aspects as well.
